Hufft Projects is looking for an Architectural Designer to perform a broad range of duties, working on all phases of design from conception to completion. Hufft Projects is a diverse design collective based in Kansas City with a passion for quality craftsmanship and a keen interest in the developing role of the designer, fabricator and builder in the modern world. The Architectural Designer is expected to be a steward of the interdisciplinary approach of the design studio, coordinating across trades/divisions as required by each project. Tasks will be varied, ranging from (but not limited to) conceptual design, presentation preparation, client and consultant correspondence, construction documentation, and project visualization. The Architectural Designer is expected to work proficiently with little direction to advance a project based on time and budget constraints. An emphasis will be placed on collaboration, design integrity and deadline driven project delivery. The Architectural Designer’s role is seen as vital the success of the design studio, and integral to everything we strive for at Hufft Projects.

Knowledge, Skill and Certification Requirements:
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Understanding of sustainable design strategies
- Understanding of Building codes and life safety requirements
- Understanding of accessible/universal design
- Ability to complete projects and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Revit and able to both draw and manage the file efficiently
