We are seeking individuals for this position with eight or more years of experience, with licensure preferred but not required. (If the candidate is licensed, they are submitting credentials for Project Architect. If they aren’t licensed, they are submitting credentials for Project Designer.) Either way, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent / relevant degree from an accredited program.

Full Job Description:
Responsible for finished design, material selection and construction documents. May supervise a small staff of architects and technicians. Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principals and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields. Acts independently regarding architectural methods and complexities. Requires use of advanced techniques, modification / extension of theories, precepts, and practices commonly used in this field. Responsible for implementing project objectives, critical issues, and design concepts. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans. Assists principal and project manager as required. Performs project design staff and fabrication duties as needed.
