Paschal Heat, Air and Geothermal

Project Overview

Designed to accommodate the company’s unprecedented growth, Paschal needed both a warehouse that could support their expanding inventory, as well as office space that could integrate seamlessly with their workflow and evolving business model. The 30,000 sqft warehouse is stretched the length of the narrow site and laid out to maximize the efficiency of inbound and outbound trailers. The offices are organized by departments in blocks of space stacked around the perimeter, all overlooking a double height open office that encourages transparency and collaboration among the various departments.

The exterior reinforces the company’s industrial character while moments of color highlight areas of relief in the massing. The primary façade is rotated to face the street, open up the shared office space, and maximize the northern expose. Large glass overhead doors allow the open office space to be expanded further as well as provide views of the pond to the north. A flush cypress box accentuates the pedestrian level and contrasts the dark masses to create an inviting entry near the glass wall of the showroom. The simple formal moves reflect the company’s focus on efficiency and provide a strong figure for a growing company.
