SUMMARY:NW - Hard Hat Tour
DESCRIPTION:Hard Hat Tour of the Renovation and Addition of Fayetteville Montessori Primary School\n\nRenovation of approx. 7200 sq. ft. of an existing strip mall building formally housing separate tenants \, with a new addition of approx. 4700 sq. ft. into a new facility to house preschool Montessori children ages 2-4 year olds. Program consists of 9 classrooms with integral bathrooms for small children in each classroom\, two meeting rooms\, a small break room and a laundry room. Also included are ADA required bathrooms. The existing parking areas along the front of building the are left untouched\, with the exception of new parking stripping and a new water absorbing landscaping strips along the building perimeter. The existing concrete parking lot along the back of the existing building were removed to allow for the new wing addition and landscaped play area between the buildings. Also included as a part of this project is a footbridge spanning the existing creek (will be under construction in the next few weeks)\, and forming a connection between separate buildings linking this facility to the larger Montessori Campus. The areas on each side of the creek will be landscaped into a park like setting as a long term goal. \n  \nAll of these work as described above will be completed for approximately $132 per square foot. \n  \nThe tour will begin at 2358 Green Acres\, Fayetteville\, AR 72703 from 11:30-12:30p.m.  Thursday December 18.  Closed toed shoes and hard hats are required to enter the site.  If you have an extra hard hat\, please bring one.  This tour will be worth 1 HSW unit.
