Prototype Intern-SGA Design Group

Job Functions / Responsibilities
Focus areas:

1.Prototype Construction Documents – Works with Prototype Manager, Architects and Project Managers to maintain, update, and improve prototypical document sets.

2.Multiple Assignments – Manages and organizes multiple assignments to help the team develop design initiatives, implement changes, and prepare proto document sets for     periodic upload. Completes assignments with attention to detail and the thoroughness necessary to make sure that marks or changes are carried through-out the set.

3.Consultant Coordination- Helps prioritize and schedule document production among the project team, consultants, and other disciplines.

4.Other Responsibilities – Desire and ability to learn and take on expanded responsibilities including, but not limited to: due diligence/site analysis, schematic design, code     research, design development, consultant coordination, permitting, etc.

Candidate Qualifications:

EDUCATION:  Design Education, preferred.Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Design or formal program of CAD/Revit training.

EXPERIENCE:  1-2 years; experience.Prefer experience in a team focused environment that concentrates on developing the best product for the client.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD experience preferred. Autodesk Certified Professional preferred.
